CARME FARRÉ-VIDAL

Dr. Carme Farré-Vidal is currently teaching courses of English as a foreign language at Institut de Llengües, University of Lleida. From 2007 to 2013 she worked as Associate Lecturer at the Department of English and Linguistics, University of Lleida, where she mainly taught courses of English for specific purposes. In 2011 she defended her PhD thesis with the title “Women Detectives, Agents of Feminism, Androgynous Avatars in the Fiction of Patricia Cornwell and Kathy Reichs”. She is a member of research group Dedal- Lit since 2010. She has focused her research on detective fiction women authors and is now studying American author Sue Grafton. She is interested in ageing studies, gender studies and cultural studies.
